In 1990 I started my own business called Motorland where it was my dream to sell premium quality used cars. Sadly due to the economic situation in Klerksdorp at the time with the gold mines closing down one after another, I had to close the business and I turned to wholesale – buying and selling cars to dealers.

I was offered the Honda franchise Klerksdorp in 2008 and then opened Honda Rustenburg and Mahindra Rustenburg two years later. During my ten years at Honda, many milestones were achieved. Our sales team was on the podium for most units sold within our region for 8 years running, I was elected the  Chairman of the Honda South Africa Dealer Council, and our Finance & Insurance team won many awards for product sales

In August 2019 after selling my franchises, Motorland was reborn as a family business,  and a new showroom was developed on a very well situated piece of land in Klerksdorp.

Since then we have gained a large base of very happy customers. Our vehicle stock is of excellent quality, with full service and warranty history, spare keys and an 81 point check done on every car to ensure all mechanical components are in good working order. We offer in-house finance from all major banks and our hands-on administrative personnel ensure a stress-free transaction from beginning to end.
